Getting started
Do we need a technical person on staff?
No. Everything happens in the dashboard with drag and drop and plain-language settings. If your team can update a website or build a slide, they can build your app.
How long does launch take?
Most of the time goes into gathering your content: series art, service times, events and recent messages. Once your app is ready, we prepare the builds and submit them to the App Store and Google Play, and store review usually takes a few days.
What do we need to get started?
Your logo, your colors and whatever you already have. You start from a sample app, so you can launch with a few sections and add more later.
Can we see the app before it goes live?
Yes. The dashboard shows a live phone preview as you build, and nothing reaches people's phones until you press Publish.

Is every app custom branded?
Yes. Your church's name and icon appear in the App Store and on the home screen, and your colors and type run through every screen.
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Every plan includes branded iOS and Android apps. Apple TV and Roku apps are coming soon to Standard and Advanced. See the TV apps.
Do our people need to create an account?
No. Anyone can download your app and start watching, reading and signing up right away.
Do updates need a new App Store review?
No. Sermons, events, pages and layout changes reach phones the moment you publish.
Tools you already use
Can we use our current livestream and giving tools?
Yes. Messages play from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Resi or your own video files, and Watch live links to wherever you stream. Giving hands off to Tithe.ly, Pushpay, Planning Center Giving or any giving link.
Does it work with Planning Center?
Yes. Connect Planning Center and your public Calendar events, Church Center groups and chosen Services teams come into your app automatically. See how.
Do you process donations?
No. Your giving provider processes every gift exactly as it does today. The app gives people a quick way to choose an amount and fund, then hands off to your provider.
Pricing
Is there a setup fee?
No. Every plan includes the whole app and dashboard, and Advanced includes launch and content migration.
What's the difference between the plans?
Basic ($99 a month, billed yearly) is the complete app on phones with video by embed from YouTube, Vimeo, Resi or BoxCast. Standard ($249 a month) adds video hosted by us, with Apple TV and Roku apps coming soon. Advanced adds more stored video, priority support and migration. Compare plans.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Same plan, same features. Paying yearly works out to about two months free; for example Standard is $249 a month billed yearly ($2,988 a year) or $299 a month billed monthly.
Are push notifications limited?
No. There's no monthly cap and no per-message fee. To keep anyone from flooding your people's phones by mistake, the dashboard spaces out bursts and limits how many go out in a day, with plenty of room for real announcements.
